- Precise sanctioning language. We do not label leagues "recognized" without identifying who recognizes them. Descriptions use exact terms like "U.S. Soccer organization member," "FIFA member association," "NCAA member institution," or "independent professional league."
- Verified dates. Each entry shows Last verified. Eligibility, NIL, transfer, visa, federation, and league entries also carry a planned next review date.
- Umbrella links first. We prefer authoritative umbrella directories (for example the NFHS state directory) over publishing many links that could change independently.
